For over 20 years, The Tile Master, Inc. has been providing ceramic tile installation services. We have done work in many homes and businesses in the Hampton Roads area. Our work can be seen in locations such as Christopher Newport University, Richmond City Jail, Cox, Chic-Fil-A, Batteries Plus, ODU, William & Mary, TRADOC at Fort Eustis, Gethsemane Baptist Church plus many more. Over the years, we have also done work showcased in The Parade of Homes and Home-a-rama for multiple builders.

Meet Our Leaders

Dwayne Foster, co-founder and President of The Tile Master, Inc. has been serving the Hampton Roads area for over 20 years. Dwayne has seen every part of the business having started his career as a labor/helper at Pompei Tile in 1986. After a brief time in The Newport News Shipyard as a Nuclear Pipe Fitter, he returned to his ceramic tile apprenticeship in the mid 90's to work for The Tile Shop, Inc and Jacks Tile and Carpet. After his apprenticeship, he decided it was time to open The Tile Master, in 1998, only to incorporate to The Tile Master, Inc. in 2002 to offer the community another choice for their tile needs with extra attention being paid to quality and customer satisfaction.

Dwayne is a lifelong Newport News resident and 1981 graduate of Warwick High School. He and his wife Alma have six adult children and nine grandchildren. Dwayne’s interests include traveling and watching as much sports as he can. Go Redskins!

Alma Foster, co-founder and Vice President of The Tile Master, Inc., has been in the tile business for 20 years. Alma manages all back-office operations of the organization and has worked with Dwayne to build a first-class company that has been providing quality results to customers across the region.

Alma was born and raised in Newport News and is a 1980 graduate of Homer L. Ferguson High School. Alma also served as “CEO of the Foster Household” as she and Dwayne raised their six children. Alma’s interest include reading, traveling and spending as much time as possible with her family.
